So enjoy the delicious mutton kathi roll by leaning how to make them at home with chef Varun only on Get Curried. <br /> <br />Ingredients <br />For the dough <br />2 cups maida <br />1 tbsp ghee <br />1/2 tsp Salt <br />1/3 -1/2 cup Water <br />1 no egg <br />For the filling <br />250 gms boneless mutton <br />1 tbsp mustard oil <br />1 tbsp ginger garlic paste <br />1/2 tsp turmeric <br />1/2 tsp red chilli powder <br />1/2 tsp garam masala powder <br />Salt to taste <br />Water as required <br />For the assembly <br />1/2 cup onion sliced <br />2-3 green chillies chopped <br />1 cucumber thinly sliced <br />Lemon juice as required <br />Butter paper for wrapping <br />Method <br /> <br />- In a bowl take flour, salt, melted ghee, a egg and water and knead the dough add oil in the bowl and keep the dough in it and rest it for 15-20 minutes <br /> <br />- In a pan heat raw mustard oil and then turn the flame off <br /> <br />- Marinate the boneless mutton with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. <br />- In the pan add onion, chillies and mutton strips, water lower the flames and cover it and let it cook for 30- 40 minutes. <br /> <br />- Take the dough and start making roti breads, make small balls and roll it into thin disc <br /> <br />- On a tawa roast it and flip it until it gets light brown – half baked <br /> <br />- Make the roti crisp by putting oil on the tawa and cooking the half baked roti <br /> <br />- Break and egg, add salt and whisk it and place it on the top of roti and spread it properly and flip it over. <br /> <br />- Place the meat on the roti and onions, cucumber , lemon juice, roughly cut chillies and little bit of salt and roll the roti. <br /> <br />- Cut it right into the center and roll it into butter paper <br /> <br />- Mutton kathi rolls are ready to be served!
